According to Jon Heyman; the Red Sox are looking to upgrade at SS, even with the return of Jed Lowrie. Heyman points out that Boston has checked out Jack Wilson and Orlando Cabrera.
Paul Kenyon reports that the Red Sox have released outfielder Paul McAnulty, he was leading the AAA afialite in homeruns and RBI's.
