- The Reds acquired outfielder Wladimar Balentien from the Mariners for RHP Rober Manuel in a minor deal today.
- Adrian Gonzalez is most likely staying put according to Padres CEO Jeff Moorad.
- With Cliff Lee traded to the Phillies today, Roy Halladay could gain more interest from other teams that are looking to add an ace. Halladay would consider the Rangers according to MLB sources.
- The Giants have added Ryan Garko, and could look to add more bats including Freddy Sanchez of the Pirates, or Josh Willingham of the Nationals.
