Buehrle Perfect-o
27 up, 27 down. Mark Buehrle of the Chicago White Sox was perfect on Thursday, only the 18th perfect game in the history of Major League Baseball. Dewayne Wise made an amazing catch in the 9th to take away a home run, and the first Rays' hit. Mark got a call from President O'bama and said he was more nervous during that phone call than in the 9th of his perfect-o. The last perfect game was tossed by Randy Johnson of the D'backs on May 18, 2004. Eric Cooper was the home plate umpire for the game, and was also the plate ump for Buehrle's last no hitter on April 18, 2007.
